Hello!

An interesting couple of days we have had with the snow. It was tricky, but we managed to stay up to date with our work, for those who attended by the end of the week.

In math this week we reviewed our multiplication and division strategies, and took a final test. Most students have a good grasp of our classroom strategies, where some students recognize what they need to keep working on.

In science we learned about the skeletal and muscular system. Some of us were even  able to create robot hands resembling our own.

In social studies we reviewed our natural resources with a game of jeopardy, and took a final rest. Most did well, with some a little still confused in certain areas.

In language arts we have started a new novel study called ‘Escape Mr. Lemoncello’s Library’. We managed to get through 18 chapters this week,  a good chunk done. We will see who is the first to escape, as more clues are revealed.

Next week we will start our Canadian timeline unit in social studies, measurement in math, the nervous system and urinary system in science, more of of novel study, and make a brochure to show off Le Carnival de Quebec.

Have a good weekend, and see you Monday.
