Hello!
It was good to see everyone back this week, sounds like a lot of events happened over spring break.
We spent math this week just reviewing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
In language arts we wrote about our spring breaks, some interesting trips.
In social studies we started researching our heritage countries, in preparation for our heritage fair in two weeks. We got most of the family surveys back, which will help students complete their posters. Some students may be working at home on their family tree next week.
In science we started our human body inquiry project, where working in partners, students will research something they have wondered about with the human body. They will be creating and presenting a Google Slides presentation to the class in two weeks.
In french we have started, and a couple students have finished, our French All About Me projects, showing off our preferences. They will be put on display during our heritage fair.
Next week we will finish off researching our heritage country and start making the poster board in social studies, finishnoffmour inquiry slideshow in science, start learning about fractions in math, and continue working on poetry in language arts. First full week back, should be a good one.
